Roland TB-303

Released in 1982

The TB-303 Bass Line is a single-oscillator monophonic bass synthesizer with a step sequencer, and it was one of Roland's most iconic products - it is the de facto standard for creating acid and techno bass lines. Rather than 'playing' it live, it is more geared toward recording a bass pattern, and tweaking the filter and other parameters while the pattern is playing.
