Akai AX60

The Akai AX60 is a six-voice analog synthesizer with a 61-note keyboard. It has one oscillator per voice, 4-pole low-pass filter, high-pass filter, BBD chorus, arpeggiator, and split mode. The synth is based on the CEM3394, a single IC chip that contains a VCO, VCF and VCA. A unique feature of the AX60 is a 13-pin DIN input for Akai samplers of the time, such as the S612; this allows for polyphonic sample processing through the AX60, which can make for some interesting timbres - especially when blended with the synth's oscillators.

This AX60 is in good condition with some physical wear. It comes equipped with the Tauntek mod which adds some features and adjustments to the synth.
