Oberheim OB-Xa synthesizer, signed by Tom O!

Oberheim OB-Xa synthesizer, in beautiful cosmetic condition, with full 8 voices. This classic analog polysynth was just refurbished by our techs, and then signed by Tom Oberheim on the right end panel. It is fully functional, and sounds absolutely monstrous. A previous owner installed MIDI jacks, but there is no MIDI board inside.

The OB-Xa has the ability to split and layer its programs. Made famous by Van Halen's "Jump", the OB-Xa can have 4, 6, or 8-voice polyphony depending on the hardware. It is quite similar in sound to the later OB-8, but the OB-Xa has less-stable oscillators - which contributes to its wilder, wider sound.
