The Oberheim Matrix 1000 contains up to 1000 Matrix 6 patches and is the easiest way to get that great Oberheim sound into your mix. With two DCO's per voice, a resonant low-pass filter, three envelopes, and much more, this rack unit is truly a flexible polysynth powerhouse. The Matrix 1000 really shines in cascade mode where it can add polyphony to another Matrix 1000, Matrix 6 or 6r, and can be detuned for extra character.
