Hammer weight, for piano-action keyboards. This hammer weight is for the Style 42W white keys only. These hammer weights may show cracks in the sides around the lead weight. This cracking is pretty normal, and does not indicate that there is any problem. The main reason for replacing these weights is a broken bottom tab (which stops the weight�s motion when a key is struck). Sometimes the lead weight can begin to break free, and a weight with this problem will show cracks in the plastic running from one side of the hammer weight to the other. The weights we sell have been inspected, and should not have any such problems.
