Integrated circuit, SSM2030 voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) chip, 16-pin DIP. Some synths (Prophet 5 Rev 1 and 2) use the SSM2030 with a tempco resistor soldered to the pins, and epoxied to the top of the chip (our part #3719T).
