Oberheim OB-MX

Released in 1994

The OB-MX was designed by Don Buchla, and is a 2-voice analog polysynth, with two oscillators per voice. It is a module which is expandable, so by adding extra hardware, you can increase the polyphony up to 12 voices. The OB-MX has a lot of versatile programming features, and while it has both Oberheim and Moog filter selections, neither is very overwhelming.
