Download Demo Disks

We have demo disks available for many of our products; these are available for free download here. Each disk contains several sounds from Syntaur's libraries that are ready to load and play; these will demonstrate the sampling and programming quality of our products.
To Download a Demo Disk: You must have a PC with a 3.5-inch disk drive, and for Ensoniq files, you must also have the Ensoniq Disk Extractor shareware program (you can download it below - note that it requires a really old computer), which will convert the downloaded demo files to Ensoniq-readable floppy disks.

Akai MPC Demo Disk, for MPC3000, MPC2000, MPC2000XL

Contains a program file with 16 pads and four Banks full of drums, percussion, guitars, and other sounds from Syntaur's MPC library. You will need to have a blank high-density (HD) floppy disk. To create the disk, unzip the downloaded file, then follow the loading instructions.

Ensoniq ASR-10/ASR-88 Demo Disk

Contains four sampled instruments from Syntaur's Sample Sets and HipHop Master series. After unzipping the downloaded file, you will need the Ensoniq Disk Extractor software to write this file to a high-density (HD) disk.

Ensoniq EPS/EPS-16 Plus Demo Disk

Contains four sampled instruments from Syntaur's Sample Sets and HipHop Master series. After unzipping the downloaded file, you will need the Ensoniq Disk Extractor software to write this file to a double-density (DS/DD) disk. (This is identical to the ASR Demo Disk above, except that it writes to a DS/DD floppy disk.)

Ensoniq SQ-80 Demo Disk

Contains six sample patches from Soundsets 1, 2, and 4. After unzipping the downloaded file, you will need the Ensoniq Disk Extractor software to write this file to a double-density (DS/DD) disk.

Ensoniq TS-10/TS-12 Demo Disk

Contains four sample patches from TS Sets 1 and 2. After unzipping the downloaded file, you will need the Ensoniq Disk Extractor software to write this file to a high-density (HD) disk.

Ensoniq VFX-sd/SD-1 Demo Disk

Contains four sample patches from VFX Sets 1 and 2. After unzipping the downloaded file, you will need the Ensoniq Disk Extractor software to write this file to a double-density (DS/DD) disk.

Ensoniq Disk Extractor (ede109.zip), for PC's

This is shareware from Giebler Enterprises that allows you to convert a downloaded PC file to an Ensoniq-readable disk. Click here for specific instructions on creating an Ensoniq disk from the downloaded files. Note that this software requires an older computer (Windows 95 or earlier) to run correctly.

Korg Triton Demo Disk

Contains a drum kit from the HipHop Master Drumz series from Syntaur. To create the disk, unzip the downloaded file to a blank high-density (HD) disk, then follow the loading instructions.
